Bernhard Leubolt is pre-doc assistant at the Institute for Regional Development and Environment.
He writes his PhD on the influence of the state on inequality, comparing Brazil with South Africa, focusing on the political economy of social policies.
His main research interests are: Political economy, development studies, urban and regional development, social policies, state theory, social movements and participation. His main regional interest is Latin America.
